and offers you an invitation to visit us in Bowdon, Georgia. 
We are proud of our accomplishments, but continue to strive for excellence.
Thank you for visiting our school website. We anticipate an exciting and successful 2011 - 2012 school year.

We believe that all students should be proud to attend BowdonElementary School. We have high expectations for all students and desire for them to demonstrate their best each and every day.
Believing that supporting the students of BESis a shared responsibility, we hope that you will partner with us to help your child achieve success. One means of accomplishing this task is through open communication; therefore, we encourage of you to get to know us personally, visit our school, and involve yourself in our activities.

2013 BES Teacher of the Year 

 

  
        Bowdon Elementary School is proud to announce that Ronda Stapleton has been selected as the 2013 Bowdon Elementary Teacher of the Year.  Mrs. Stapleton, a third grade teacher has a total of four years experience in public schools. She also taught preschool at First Baptist of Villa Rica for five years.
        Mrs. Stapleton participates in and support all activities and fundraisers of the Bowdon Band Booster club.  She works with children during Vacation Bible School and church youth activities at the church her family attends, participates in 5K walk/runs that support various organizations and charitable fundraisers, and supports veterans groups such as the Woman’s Veterans of America, the Patriot Guard, and the Women in Military Service for America Memorial Foundation. Over the past ten years, she has aided and assisted several widows in her community with housework, taking food to them, having them over for dinner, yard work, running errands and just sitting with them to visit.
       Mrs. Stapleton enjoys spending quality time with my family especially traveling and camping to experience places.  She enjoys reading about anything and everything, going to church, and singing in the choir.  
       Mrs. Stapleton has been married for nineteen years to her wonderful supportive husband, Steven Stapleton, who has recently retired from the Army as a Sergeant Major and currently is a Carroll County Firefighter.  They have two boys, Justin, a senior at Bowdon High School, and Kenny a sophomore at Bowdon High School.  Both boys are active members of the Bowdon High School marching band, jazz band, drama club, and track team.
