I have been teaching at Bowdon Elementary School for four years. I have taught third grade and second grade. Currently, I am the Quest teacher. I enjoy my job so much that I drive an hour to work in the mornings and an hour home from work in the afternoons. Prior to teaching at B.E.S., I taught six years in Alabama. I taught at the following schools: Saks High School (Calhoun County), Beulah High School (Lee County), and LeFlore High School (Mobile County).

My name is Sarah Duffey. I am a graduate of Central High School. I went to West Georgia College for both my BS, Masters Degree and my Media Certificate. I taught at Central Elementary for around 17 years. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. I moved in the the media center at Bowdon Elementary in 2004. I really like working with all the students and staff at BES. It's fun to read many of the great books we have in our media center. Mrs. Gerber, my media clerk and friend is great to work with too. I am married to Eddie Duffey, who holds the position of Assistant Athletic Director at the University of West Georgia, and we live in Carrollton. We have three children, Lauren, Parker, and Tyler.
