I am very excited to be a teacher at Bowdon Elementary School. I have taught kindergarten, first and second grade for a total of 23 years. I am married and my husband, Michael and I live in Carrollton, Georgia. He and I have a daughter, EvaMarie, who is 21 years old and is a junior at the University of West Georgia. She is seeking a career in Early Childhood Education. This fall, you can find her as one of the feature twirlers in the Marching Wolves Band. In addition to EvaMarie, we have a son, Nicholas, who is 17 years old and is in 12th grade this year at Bowdon High School. In the spring, you can find him on the tennis courts playing tennis for BHS. Currently, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Reading and Math. My hobbies include spending time with my family, cross-stitching, and creating scrapbooks. I also love working with children. As a child, my life-long goal was to be a teacher.
