I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach music here at BES this fall.  I'm not new to BES as I have been on staff here for the last four years as the ISS teacher and as the After School Director for the last one and a half years. I  love the students here and I am looking forward to what we can learn and experience in the music classroom together. 

 

I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Music Education from God's Bible School and College in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Over the years I have taught private piano lessons, taught piano and small group music lessons in a studio setting as well as in several preschools, directed children's church choirs and taught music at John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville, GA.  I currently direct the preschool/kindergarten choir at Bowdon Baptist Church.

 

My husband and I attend Bowdon Baptist Church where he is serving as the Pastor for Worship and Senior Adults.  We have 3 children.   Blake is 19 and is a '24 graduate of BHS.  He is currently studying music at Truitt McConnell University.  Braxton is 13 and is currently attending BMS.   Brynlee is 11 and is headed to BMS in the fall.
